Afni Rises to 27th Largest Tucson Employer

Tucson, AZ – Not long ago, Afni was just a small, but energetic upstart on the Tucson employment scene. Today, three centers and close to 2,000 employees later, Afni has climbed to be 27th largest employer in the Tucson area.
The new ranking was announced recently in a report published by the Arizona Journal Star. Afni has risen several spots from a ranking in the mid 30’s published in last year’s survey.
Last fall, at a time when many companies were cutting back, a business expansion brought with it a need for 250 new jobs for the company’s three operations centers in the Tucson metro area.
