Afni Opens Riverside Crossing Contact Center in Tucson

TUCSON – Afni, Inc. hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony, Wednesday, June 11, 2008 marking the opening of its new Riverside Crossing Contact Center, located at 5320 N. La Cholla Boulevard, Tucson, Arizona.
The new state-of-the-art facility will, at full capacity, employ 700. The building will allow Afni with expanded space for a technology team to provide additional research and development allowing Afni to continue offering the latest innovation and service to its Fortune 100 clients.
"Ten years ago, Afni management opened a contact center in Tucson as our first expansion site. Today, of our nearly 5,000 employees nationwide, 1,558 employees are here in Tucson," stated Bruce F. Griffin, Afni chairman and chief executive officer. "This new building and expansion confirms our commitment to Tucson and allows Afni to continue to provide best-in-class service to our clients."
"We have a terrific facility that offers a very positive work environment," stated Pete Vegors, Vice President of Contact Center Solutions. "We are very focused on our employees, because we expect our employees to be very focused on our customers."
Afni began construction in August 2007 on the 53,000 square foot, two-story facility located on six acres at the intersection of N. La Cholla Boulevard and W. River Road as part of a new mixed-use building site called Riverside Crossing. The 30-acre site is developed by Diamond Ventures and future occupants will include a bank, professional/medical offices, restaurants, retail/services, apartments, and a hotel in addition to the Afni contact center.
